Does Saka Matcha contain caffeine?

Yes, Saka Lightly Sweetened Matcha contains approximately 50 mg of caffeine in a 6 oz serving.

That’s quite a bit less caffeine than coffee, which typically contains 100-200 gms of caffeine per cup, depending on cup size, roast level and other factors. The other difference is that matcha also contains L-Theanine, an amino acid which provides more sustained energy and focus, without the crash often associated with caffeine.
