Use of the Bruvi® water filter is strongly recommended to ensure the best tasting coffee. The water filter helps eliminate chlorine, minerals and other impurities from the water. You can purchase the water filter kit and replacement filters at bruvi.com.

Remove the filter from the polybag. Immerse the filter in cold tap water and soak for 5 minutes. Then rinse for one minute (Fig. 1).

Remove the water filter base from the long holder and insert the rinsed filter into the underside of the holder. Reinsert the filter base into the holder, and be sure the filter is securely sealed inside (Fig. 2).

Slide the water filter holder into the channels in the base of the water tank, pushing down to be sure it fits securely (Fig. 3).
NOTE: Replace the water filter every two months.
