How do I clean my brewer?

Regular cleaning is the best way to keep your Bruvi® brewer working well. We recommend weekly cleaning as follows.

** Components are not dishwasher safe

1. Unplug the power cord before cleaning.

2. Remove all brewer components (all can be washed using a soft cloth, warm water and mild dishwashing soap).

      1. 1. Close the handle and allow the pod compartment to dry for one hour before using the brewer.
         2. WARNING: Do not pour water inside the chamber to wash away the particles inside nor harsh detergent to clean inside the chamber.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Do not use hot water or harsh or abrasive detergent. Do not submerge any part of the brewer into water.
•  Do not use hot water, a dishwasher, or jets of water to clean the components.
• Do not dry the inside of the water tank to avoid leaving any lint.
•  Be careful when handling the metal drip tray cover to avoid potential sharp edges.

3. Clean the brewer body (the surface of the brewer can be cleaned with a soft cloth damp with warm water and mild dishwashing soap)

• Touch screen: 

  1. 1. Use a soft cloth damped with warm water to clean the touch screen surface.

     2. Do not use harsh fabric or detergent to clean the control panel, as this may scratch or leave water marks on the glossy panel finish.

•  Power cord: 
  1. 1. Unplug the brewer. Use a soft cloth slightly dampened with mild soap to clean the outer fabric of the power cord.
